 | Australia has a rich Multicultural History that spans for over 200 years. Many different ethnic cultures from all parts of Europe & Asia immigrated in the 50's through to the 70's.
I am fourth generation Australian Born Chinese, my Great Grand Father first arrived in Australia in the spring of 1876. My father was a restaurateur as was his Uncle, their first Restaurant started back in 1952.
I was fortunate enough to have been brought up in a Kitchen environment. My mother was from Indonesia thus Adding further dimensions to the food I experienced as a child.
With these experiences & the best ingredients from Australia the food has a unique fusion of Asian & European Cultures. This is the Food that you will experience at 148 Hiroo.

| オーストラリアは200年に亘る多種多様な文化にとんだ国です。50年代～70年代にかけてヨーロッパやアジア各地のエスニックなカルチャーが沢山の移民により交じり合いました。
私は中国系オーストラリア人の四世です。曽祖父は1876年春に初めてオーストラリアに到着しました。父は同じくレストラン経営者で最初のレストランは1952年にオープンしました。
幸運にも私は幼いころから中華の賑やかなキッチンを身近な環境に感じて育ちました。母は中国系インドネシア人で、私の味覚により深みを与えてくれました。
これらの経験とオーストラリアの最高の食材とアジアとヨーロッパの様々な食文化のミックスしたフュージョンスタイルそれが148HIROOで体験できる料理です。
